Life List

Life List

I have read over and over about life list, but I have never created one for myself. I was perusing pinterest one day and I found myself creating a life list board. I am usually a goal person. I love to make goals and I usually reach them with hard work obviously. About 2 years ago I made three very big goals in regards to career, relationships, and life in general and I gave myself a timeline of 3 years to complete each one. I did it in a year. I guess when I’m driven I can do anything (except lose weight). After making the life list pinboard I figured I should make a formal Life List. I realized when I started making my life list that I had already done several things which was awesome! Hey I’m ahead of the game! Or I just wanted to scratch some off just because I wanted to feel as if I’ve done something. Ehh neither here nor there.   I would LOVE to do ALL these things and hopefully I will get the chance.

Life List:

1. Go to Japan

2. Run the NYC marathon

3. See Arcade Fire in Concert.

I was there. Right in Front.  And it was magical.

4. Take my husband to a music festival

5. Get to sing onstage with my favorite band

6. Ride in a hot air balloon

7. actually get fit and healthy

8. Watch the Northern Lights

9.  Ride an elephant in Thailand

10. Cliff Jumping in Santorini

11. whale watching

12. create a movie theater in our backyard

13. Find wherever this is.

14. start a dance party

15. Have babies with my wonderful husband!

16. become a vegetarian for one week

17. Visit China

18. Own a home in Montana

19. learn how to sew

20. be in a parade

I think I will stop there for now but my list keeps growing the more I think about it. Is there something on your life list that you can’t wait to do?

I got married in September and it was such a fun event. Here is a little snippet into that day.

Don’t Call It A Comeback

Don’t Call It A Comeback

The last time I wrote a blog post was in 2009. I guess I’m done taking my break now.  Since that last post I have gone to many many many concerts, quit my job that I loved to pursue another job, met the man who is perfect for me,  fallen in love, gotten married, purchased a home, lost 20 pounds and then I gained 20 pounds.  That last one I’m not to happy about! Although I know this first entry is short I hope that you will travel with me on this journey as I go to more concerts, my husband and I DIY our home, and as I chronicle my  struggle to lose those pesky 20 pounds.
